Sewage Treatment Plants Control

We have a wide experience in the manufacturing of electrical panels, PLC programming and scada supervision of sewage treatment plants (WWTP). We work for the main companies in the sector, such as Agbar, Aigües de Catalunya, Aqualogy or Sorea.

Our control system for treatment plants is based on integrating all the field periphery in one or several control PLCs, centralizing all the demanded information from the plant scada or to the scada of the control center.

Is always looked for a non-dependency of a local PC for remote monitoring, so, this way is as if two autonomous control centers were given without depending on each other.

Having all the information centralized, will allow the control logic, a more efficient operation as is able to adapt the entire plant to the current state.

In all control cabinets a manual operation is always left, so that in the event of a PLC failure, a minimum operation can be carried out in the plant and avoid any leak.

Mainly, in the sewage plant control sector we use PLCs from Allen-Bradley, Omron and Siemens. And as a monitoring and control system we usually use Control Maestro from Elutions company.

In case of having water pumping stations, these are automated with modbus Allen-Bradley PLCs communication with modbus, which will allow us to link them with radiomodems to the treatment plant. Modbus communication, will allow the mix of different PLCs brands in the same radio channel.
